Mark Portu, President and CEO

Mark has been involved with the development and operation of highly successful technology companies for more than 20 years. He was appointed CEO of The FeedRoom in August 2007. Prior to that, Mark served as Senior Vice President at Open Text Corporation. He joined Open Text in 1999 through the Company’s acquisition of TierTwo Systems which Mark co-founded before its spin-out from Adobe. A career entrepreneur, Mark was also a co-founder of Curo Technology, a manufacturer of electronic document management software, which was acquired by Frame Technology in 1995, and ultimately acquired by Adobe in 1996. He holds a B.S. in Economics from University of Wisconsin and an MBA in Finance from New York University.  Mark currently serves on the board of eCopy, Inc., a leading provider of document imaging solutions.

Andy Goldman, Vice President of Finance

A 25-year veteran of the information technology sector, Andy joined The FeedRoom in January 2007.  Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Finance at IntraLinks, a high growth, venture-backed Software-as-a-Service provider to the corporate enterprise market, and Vice President and Controller at two companies that provided financial data to the trading community. Andy started his career at Ernst & Young, and also worked for seven years in the auditing departments of CBS and Continental Grain. He is a CPA, and graduate of Lehigh University.

Matt DeLoca, SVP of Sales and Marketing

A 21-year veteran of media technology, Matt joined The FeedRoom in 2004 to focus on the company’s growth in the enterprise segment.  Matt spent his early career at Apple Computer, Inc., supporting sales and business development in the Media & Entertainment Division. Through the mid-1990s, he managed Apple’s strategic relationships with key broadcast, advertising and publishing companies. His relationships with leading content creators led him to Cinebase Software, a Digital Asset Management pioneer later acquired by Corbis, where he was Director of Sales for the Eastern US and Europe. He joined video search leader Virage, Inc. in 1999, opening the New York facility and building out the company’s Northeast territory. Matt led Virage’s Channel Sales efforts prior to the company’s acquisition by Autonomy, Inc.

Daniel Webster, SVP of Business Development and Live Media Services

Daniel brings more than 20 years of broadcast media and convergent technology experience to The FeedRoom. Prior to joining The FeedRoom in 2000, Daniel played a number of key roles in CBS Television Stations Division, including News Director for KPIX in San Francisco where he oversaw news and operations, including the station Website. Previously he was News Director at WTVT/Tampa where he created one of the first interactive newscasts, and has been a recipient of numerous awards in television news. Life in television began for Daniel at ABC Networks, where he quickly became a champion of digital communication and its possibilities when computers were first introduced there. He has a BA in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia, England.

Dan Bleeker, SVP of Product Strategy and Software Development

Dan Bleeker is a serial entrepreneur and technology leader with more than 20 years of software industry experience in document and knowledge management and end-user application development. Dan has been a key founder in three companies: Curo Technology, a document management product company acquired by Frame Technology; TierTwo Systems, a knowledge management client application company acquired by Open Text; and TeamDirection, a company focused on collaborative project management. Dan has Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
